3 new vegan launches we’re excited about this week
It seems like there's always something new being launched in the vegan food industry. Here are 3 that we're most excited about this week...
1. Mallow Puffs
Vegans can now get their hands on premium plant-based marshmallow snacks at Holland & Barrett. The store now stocks Mallow Puffs, a puffy, fluffy snack coated in chocolate and packed in resealable sharing pouches. The mini morsels are available in Salted Caramel and Vanilla Bean flavours for £3.49. hollandandbarrett.com
2. Moving Mountain burger
Following an increased demand for more vegan options, French-themed restaurant chain Café Rouge has added a plant-based burger to its menu. The Moving Mountain 'bleeding' burger is available as a vegan alternative to the classic Black Angus Burger, and now joins the restaurant's other vegan options, including a pea and mint tortelloni, vegetable tagine, summer salad and chocolate tart. caferouge.com
3. Vive nut bars
British start-up Vive has recently launched what's being dubbed 'the vegan Snickers bar'. The Belgian dark chocolate-coated, nut butter bars are made with natural ingredients and each include 10g of plant protein. Available in Dark Chocolate-coated Hazelnut, Peanut Butter and Salted Caramel Protein Snack Bars, the new treats will be available in Holland & Barrett across the country, and Planet Organic stores in London for £1.99. eatvive.com
