Cornish Yeast Splits

Ingredients:
900g organic strong white flour300g organic semiskimmed milk
50g organic vegetarian margarine
2 tsp organic sugar
2 tsp quick-dried yeast
300ml hot water
1/4 tsp salt
method:
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and, using your dough hook, mix to a smooth dough. Leave to rise for about an hour, then knock back in the processor or by hand.
- Roll out, divide the dough into 14 balls and shape into little rounds, then place on an oiled or floured baking sheet and leave to rise. Bake at 200C/Fan 180/Gas 6 for 12 minutes.
- Serve with strawberry jam and clotted cream.
