Pear and Goat’s Cheese Salad
Serves: 4
Ready in: 15 to 30 mins
Ingredients:
knob of butter1 pear, peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges
150g vegetarian goat's cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 head chicory
50g walnut halves
4 tbsp English Provender Classic French Dressing
method:
- Heat a frying pan and add a knob of butter, add the pears and cook over a gentle heat until they begin to brown and soften. Remove and put to the side. Wipe the pan with kitchen paper.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the goat’s cheese for a minute on both sides.
- Separate the chicory leaves and divide between four plates. Top with the pears, cheese and a sprinkling of walnuts.
- Drizzle with the French dressing and serve immediately.
