Seed treats
Serves: 1
Ready in: Under 15 Mins
Due to how good seeds are for you I'm forever trying to work them into my food and I remembered how nice those little sesame snaps were and thought I'd give it a go. I've done the recipe for a single serving, but it can be easily multiplied, and seeds can be added/taken out as per personal taste.
Ingredients:
1 tsp oil2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp Honey
method:
- Add the oil to a non stick frying pan, and throw in the seeds on a medium heat.
- Move the pan continuously making sure the seeds don't burn, they should only take around a minute to warm up.
- Add the honey to the pan, keep stirring until the honey starts to froth (around another minute)
- Immediately pour onto baking paper, roll into a tight cyclinder and twist the ends tight.
- Place into the fridge to cool and set, this step can take upto 30 mins and will increase if you're making larger batches. Once set, simply unravel and enjoy!
